After losing to the Anclote Sharks the last time they met, the Gulf Buccaneers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Gulf came out on top against Anclote on Tuesday by a score of  39-35 (the very same score they lost by the week prior).
 Gulf found their leader in underclassman  Tajinae Bonney, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds. Those ten  rebounds set a new season-high mark for her.  Brenniyah Hall was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  steals.
 Gulf's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Anclote, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf will  square off against Cypress Creek at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Anclote, they will head out on the road to face off against Zephyrhills at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
