St. Michael Catholic extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 6-0. They walked away with a 49-39 win over the Jackson Aggies. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered a 49-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.
St. Michael Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gunner Rivers, who threw for 300 yards and five touchdowns. Rivers is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in each of the last three games he's played.
