There's no place like home for Omaha North, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Buena Vista Bison 3-2 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their seven-match losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Omaha North got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-11, 20-25, 15-10.

Omaha North found their leader in freshman Giavonna Gunter, who had nine digs and three aces.

Omaha North was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Omaha North's win bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Buena Vista, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Coming up, Omaha North is taking a road trip to face off against Westview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buena Vista, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mercy at 7:00 p.m.
