Tantasqua Regional has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Millbury Woolies at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Tantasqua Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Millbury is ranked 24th).
Last Friday, Tantasqua Regional came up short against Auburn and fell 55-45.
Meanwhile, Millbury strolled past Leicester with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 51-32. The win was just what Millbury needed coming off of a 68-43 loss in their prior match.
Kenny Donnelly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jimmer Donnelly, who scored nine points.
Tantasqua Regional's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5. As for Millbury, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Tantasqua Regional came up short against Millbury when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 54-44. Can Tantasqua Regional avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
