Sanger extended their home winning streak to seven games  dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from  Kendale McGrew. The Apaches came out on top against the Edison Tigers by a score of  36-27  on Friday for which the team can thank  McGrew, who rushed for 157 yards and two  TDs. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 101.2  rushing yards per game.
 Sanger didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Bryan Valle,  Leo Quiroz,  and  Ace Escalara picked up one apiece. Valle got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Sanger's record is now 5-3. As for Edison,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
