Jayden Lucky was dialed in as he rushed for 142 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and one touchdown. He was up against Thrall and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in September of 2024. Lucky's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 135 rushing yards dating back to last season. On the season, he has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 155 rushing yards per game.

Coming up, Lucky and Troy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Maypearl at 7:30 p.m. The match will pit Lucky up against the Panthers' star rusher Tristan Brooks.
