After both having extra time off, the False River Gators and the Calvin Cougars will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another  on Tuesday. False River will be strutting in after a  victory while Calvin will be coming in after a  loss.
False River came out on top against Alexandria Country Day  two weeks ago thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Gators put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp  11-1 win.
 Preston Guiliory spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Calvin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
