Rio Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They fell  3-1 to the Oxnard Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on September 2nd.
 Rio Mesa started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-13, 25-19,  25-21.
  Jessica Camarillo went supernova For Oxnard.,  getting 20  digs and two  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mila Hernandez, who  had nine  digs and three  aces.
Rio Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Oxnard, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.
