Plattsmouth came into Saturday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 62-50 victory over the Glenwood Rams on Saturday. The Blue Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Plattsmouth got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Frederick out in front who made all 5 shots he took to post 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Johnson, who posted 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Plattsmouth was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Plattsmouth's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5. As for Glenwood, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Plattsmouth and Conestoga will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Glenwood, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lewis Central at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
