Lathrop put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northeast Vikings a 24-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 on Monday.

Lathrop pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 15.7 runs this season. As for Northeast, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Lathrop wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Maysville on the 25th. As for Northeast, they have also already played their next match, a 22-2 loss against University Academy Charter on the 26th.
