Lyndhurst's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Harper, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Asya Akar was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Lyndhurst's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Montville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.
Lyndhurst is on the road again on Saturday and plays Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th. Hopefully Lyndhurst focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday. As for Montville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hackensack at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Montville is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, meaning Hackensack will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
