The Incarnate Word Academy Angels won the last time they faced the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Incarnate Word Academy came out on top against Texas School for the Deaf by a score of  39-27. Given Incarnate Word Academy's advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 341st, while Texas School for the Deaf is ranked 956th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Incarnate Word Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Lily Herandez led the charge by  scoring 8 points along with 5  rebounds and 3  steals.  Emma Romanczyk was another key contributor,  scoring 8 points along with 3  steals.
 Incarnate Word Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5.
 Incarnate Word Academy will face off against Science and Tech at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Texas School for the Deaf will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Louisiana School for the Deaf at 11:00  a.m.  on December 9th.
