The North Webster Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Bastrop Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Webster is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Two weeks ago, North Webster was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 36-31 to Richwood.
Meanwhile, Bastrop put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 58-24 win over Carroll. Bastrop has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Bastrop's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Mariah Heard, who scored 20 points, and Alana Myles, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antanasia Armstrong, who scored five points.
North Webster's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2. As for Bastrop, their victory bumped their record up to 25-0.
North Webster was dealt a bruising 52-11 defeat at the hands of Bastrop in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can North Webster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
