After losing to Danvers the last time they met, Beverly decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers slipped by the Falcons 28-27 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one point.

Beverly pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 points across that stretch. As for Danvers, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beverly will take on Marblehead at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Magicians will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Danvers, they will challenge Masconomet Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
