Nipomo will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Golden West at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Nipomo came within a touchdown against Cabrillo last Friday, but wound up with a 14-21 loss.
Meanwhile, Golden West were fully in charge last week, breezing past El Capitan 46-6.
Golden West's win lifted them to 1-1 while Nipomo's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Golden West can add another positive mark to their record or if Nipomo can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Golden West's step.
