Adrian was sadly handed a defeat on Monday, but Tyler Bruggeman did his best to prevent it. Tecumseh had no answer to Bruggeman as he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Bruggeman is becoming a predictor of Adrian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Even though Bruggeman couldn't lead Adrian over Tecumseh, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Bruggeman's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Maples' three-game streak of wins on the road.
