On Thursday, Mountain View was the victim of a rough 53-32 loss at the hands of Annandale.
Annandale found their leader in underclassman Ava Sewall, who scored 23 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sewall has scored at least 25% of Annandale's points. Susan Aburish was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Mountain View now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Annandale, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will take on Forest Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Annandale, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Centreville at 7:30 p.m.
