Basketball Game Preview: Pinewood Prep Panthers vs. First Baptist School Hurricanes

Pinewood Prep hasn't had much luck against First Baptist School recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Meanwhile, First Baptist School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt an 84-54 defeat at the hands of Augusta Christian. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 221st in South Carolina, while the Lions are ranked 18th in Georgia).

Pinewood Prep's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. As for First Baptist School, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
