The Udall Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. Their tough 57-35 defeat to Central might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Udall in their matchups with Central: they've now lost four in a row.
Udall lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jenson Harness, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Duane Ault, who scored nine points.
Udall dropped their record down to 3-14 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Udall will square off against Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Dexter on Tuesday.
