The Hillsboro Christian Academy Crusaders lost against the Ross County Christian Academy Eagles two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Hillsboro Christian Academy was dealt a 50-23 loss at the hands of Ross County Christian Academy.
Despite the defeat, Hillsboro Christian Academy had strong showings from Emma Korte, who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds, and Lisa Vanzant, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals. Vanzant scored a full 43.5% of Hillsboro Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Hillsboro Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Ross County Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro Christian Academy will take on Adams County Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ross County Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Dominion Academy at 3:45 p.m. on December 9th.
