Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Moultonborough Academy). They were the clear victors by  a  26-10 margin over the Gorham Huskies on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous   matchup.

The team  relied heavily on  Sammy Nagle, who  went a perfect 5-for-5 with one  home run, four  stolen bases,  and five  runs. Those  five  runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Beyla Rudolph, who  got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with five  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Moultonborough Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .717. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Moultonborough Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Gorham, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the  loss, which was their 11th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Moultonborough Academy is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Colebrook Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gorham will  challenge  rival Woodsville  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
