Verrado can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Maricopa Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vipers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Their offense was headlined by Aniah Brown and Alyssa Ortiz, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Baylee Wakeham and her 25 assists. Sophia Zimmerman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Verrado's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Maricopa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Verrado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Boulder Creek on the 11th. As for Maricopa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Centennial on the 11th.
