The Walton Raiders won the last time they faced the Blessed Trinity Titans, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Walton strolled past Blessed Trinity with points to spare, taking the game 60-45.
Walton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Renee Radovich led the charge by scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for Radovich. Another player making a difference was Layla Varghese, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
The win got Walton back to even at 4-4. As for Blessed Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walton will be home for the holidays to greet Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blessed Trinity will be home for the holidays to greet Marist at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
