Air Academy dropped down to 3-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Palmer Ridge Bears, falling 42-0. The Kadets were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the three matchups prior), but the Bears' defense proved too tough.

Cade Ballard threw for 48 yards on six of 13 attempts. Madden Pohl was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards.

As for Palmer Ridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Cole Harris was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt. Those 255 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Michael Toth also helped with two scores in total.

Air Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 24-0 victory against Liberty on the 11th. As for Palmer Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 21-7 win against Durango on the 10th.
