The Huss Huskies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Stuart W. Cramer as Huss made off with a 80-54 win. The victory was familiar territory for Huss who now have three in a row.
Martin 'Supernova' Smith was a one-man wrecking crew for Huss as he scored 22 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Smith also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trimell Dunlap, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Stuart W. Cramer's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makhi Brown, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Darren Stowe, who scored eight points.
Stuart W. Cramer struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Huss is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Huss will face off against Forestview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Huss knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matchups -- so hopefully Forestview likes a good challenge. As for Stuart W.
