The Etowah Eagles entered their tilt with the Creekview Grizzlies with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Etowah secured a 41-37 W over Creekview on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Etowah, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Megan Reed continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Savannah Aparicio, who scored eight points.
Creekview lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Finley Howard, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amilya Taft (sy), who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Etowah's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Creekview, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 15-11.
Etowah will head out on the road to square off against River Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. River Ridge is coming into the game with eight straight wins at home, so Etowah is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Creekview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
