Concord is 7-2 against Plymouth since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Minutemen will face off against the Pilgrims/Rockies at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Concord has five straight victories, Plymouth has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Concord is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Wawasee to the tune of 49-21 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Concord was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 327 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in 14 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Plymouth's offense. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of Mishawaka. While losing is never fun, the Pilgrims/Rockies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Cavemen are ranked 32nd).
Concord's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Plymouth, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Concord has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 235.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Plymouth struggles in that department as they've been averaging 209 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
