The biggest upset of the week belonged to Washington, who took down 35th ranked Washington, 26-23. Jake Didlake threw for 245 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 41 yards in the win.
Taggart Brown and Brandon Prather provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Page. The connection went for 83 yards, the longest such play in 6A District 1 this season.
Stillwater's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brown threw for 257 and three touchdowns and Prather had 198 yards receiving. On the ground Davyn Thompson chipped in 80 yards. Spencer Parsons helped Stillwater's passing attack out by catching two balls for 26 yards.
Garrett Guthrie made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Pioneers lost to the Sandites. The 5-foot-6 defensive back recorded one fumble.
Thanks to the talents of Hunter Atyia and Justin Silmon Union has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Atyia leads the league in passing with 1330 yards, while Silmon has rushed for 555 yards this season. Stillwater's Prather leads the league in receiving yards with 855 on 52 catches.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Owasso and Page. The Rams comes into the matchup ranked third in the state, while Dustin Kinard's team ranks 15th.
Owasso extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Enid, 48-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
