Wilsonville (Ore.) beat
Mountain View (Bend, Ore.) 49-33 after a strong game from
Justin Hamilton, who rushed for four touchdowns.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Hamilton to
Gunner Pollman in the first quarter, the Wildcats led 35-5 at the half.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 30 entering the fourth.
Hamilton played well for Wilsonville in the victory. The sophomore threw one touchdown, caught two touchdowns and kicked seven extra points.
The Cougars'
Kyler Ayers played well. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to eight on the year.
The loss comes after Mountain View defeated McNary 23-20 last week. With the win WHS extended its winning streak to four games.
Wilsonville (4-1) goes up against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts in a 5A Northwest Oregon game matchup next week, while Mountain View (2-3) locks horns with Pendleton in a non-conference game.
