If the Foundation Christian Academy Falcons were feeling good off their 66-28 takedown of United Christian Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Foundation Christian Academy received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 42-27 to Mount Juliet Christian Academy.
Mount Juliet Christian Academy was led to victory by Greeir Goddard-hammond and Jamie Edgerton. Goddard-hammond scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds, while Edgerton scored 11 points. Goddard-hammond hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cambell Warren, who scored 9 points.
Foundation Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foundation Christian Academy will take on Frederick Fraize at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Dayspring Academy at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Dayspring Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Tuesday.
