The Windham Whippets can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. Everything went their way against Griswold as Windham made off with a 64-44 victory. Given Windham's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Griswold is ranked 134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Windham's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Asihja Harris led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aniya Jenkins, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
Windham's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Griswold, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Windham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Griswold also has no future games currently scheduled.
