Hadley Luzerne has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Fort Edward Flying Forts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Hadley Luzerne came up short against the Lakers and fell 50-40. While losing is never fun, Hadley Luzerne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 694th, while the Lakers are ranked 293rd).
Meanwhile, Fort Edward didn't have too much trouble with the Generals on the road on Tuesday as they won 50-31. Fort Edward pushed the score to 40-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Generals cut but never quite recovered from.
Hadley Luzerne's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Fort Edward, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
Hadley Luzerne strolled past the Flying Forts in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 56-39. Does Hadley Luzerne have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Flying Forts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
