Sadly, the Downsville Demons are still looking for their first win of the season after 25 games. They were outmatched by Simsboro at home and fell 74-29. Downsville has struggled against Simsboro recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Downsville still got an impressive performance from Charles Vick, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Vick is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Downsville's loss was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-25. As for Simsboro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season.
Downsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Simsboro will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Castor at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. Simsboro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Castor likes a good challenge.
