Minarets's game  on Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Parlier Panthers with a sharp  11-3 win. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.
 Jaydon VonWagner was a  major factor no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. He has become a key player for Minarets: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 6-16 otherwise.

 In other batting news,  Torin Wolf and  Ethan Akins did most of the damage at the plate:  Wolf  went 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Akins  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  double. Those  three  RBI gave  Akins a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Brody Rettig, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  RBI.
Minarets' record is now 9-16. As for Parlier, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minarets will head out to  take on Edison  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Mustangs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Parlier, they will venture away from home to  challenge Laton  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
