Kellogg is 10-0 against Priest River since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Kellogg Wildcats will play host again and welcome the Priest River Spartans, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Kellogg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.
Kellogg suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Lakeland, falling 66-36.
Defeat or not, Kellogg got some senior leadership from Emily Coe and Dani Schillereff. Coe dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Schillereff. scored six points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Priest River scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 60-28 win over Newport on the road. The victory was just what Priest River needed coming off of a 73-22 loss in their prior contest.
Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Priest River, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything came up roses for Kellogg against Priest River when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 55-28 victory. Does Kellogg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Priest River turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
