South is 10-0 against the 76ers since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The South Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Independence 76ers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South has eight straight wins, the 76ers have 20 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Friday, South escaped with a win against the Scots by the margin of a single free throw, 53-52.
Maurice Mccall had an outrageously good game as he scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Lajames Washington, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Independence was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 51-47 to the Cowboys.
South's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 0-18.
Everything came up roses for South against the 76ers in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 90-60 victory. With South ahead 50-27 at the half, the match was all but over already.
