Basketball Recap: Lindsay Extends Winning Streak to Four

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Lindsay's strategy against Era on Friday. Everything went the Lindsay Knights' way against the Era Hornets as the Lindsay Knights made off with a 58-33 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.

Era's loss came despite strong showings from Kaden Weatherly and Tristan Bowles. Weatherly posted seven points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Bowles put up eight points and five rebounds. Weatherly is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Lindsay, bringing their record for this year to 19-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.2 points. As for Era, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Lindsay will head out to take on Muenster at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Muenster has won five straight at home, while Lindsay won eight straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Era, they will welcome Tioga at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
