ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Dakota Ridge (Littleton, Colo.), 30-7, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Brody Westmoreland in the first quarter, the Grizzlies led 21-0 at the half.
ThunderRidge grew its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. THS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by
Matt Stanley.
The Eagles' lone touchdown came on a 30-yard pass from
Braxton Thais to
Tucker Barr in the fourth quarter.
ThunderRidge (1-0) will play a non-conference game against Ralston Valley next week, while Dakota Ridge (0-1) will take on Golden also in a non-conference game.
