Lee's Summit West is a perfect 3-0 against Northland Christian since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Lee's Summit West turned things around against Raymore-Peculiar last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The Titans not only won last Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lee's Summit West took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12, 25-5.

Lee's Summit West's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Braylen Koelzer, who had 15 digs and one assist, and Sam Morgan, who hit 60% for nine kills and 11 digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Morgan a new career-high.
They weren't the only ones working in the hitting percentage department: Lee's Summit West couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 41.2% of their attack attempts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hitting percentage total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Northland Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Northeast on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.
Lee's Summit West's victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Northland Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
