On Friday, Ponderosa are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against El Dorado at El Dorado Stadium at 5:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Ponderosa were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Casa Roble 49-0. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (28) and coasted on those for the win.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-54, which was the final score in El Dorado's tilt against Bear River last week. El Dorado were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Ponderosa's victory lifted them to 2-0 while El Dorado's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Ponderosa can add another positive mark to their record or if El Dorado can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Ponderosa's step.
