The North Augusta Yellow Jackets had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Midland Valley 74-13 at home. North Augusta has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.
North Augusta's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Celena Grant (new), who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Grant (new) hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Kenedi Wright was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
North Augusta is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Midland Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
