The Davenport West Falcons took a serious blow against the Davenport Central Blue Devils on Tuesday, falling 79-31. Davenport West won against Davenport Central in their previous head-to-head last month, too, but their margin this time around was much wider than that 55-38 finish.
The Falcons' overall record fell to 2-16. The Blue Devils' win brought them up to 11-12.
The Falcons will take on Davenport North on Friday at home. Davenport West fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them. As for the Blue Devils, they will go up against Assumption on Thursday. Assumption took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Davenport Central's good fortune.
