DeWitt waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the McGehee Owls by a score of 10-7. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

DeWitt pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for McGehee, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, DeWitt will challenge Wynne at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McGehee, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when McGehee Owls face off against Baptist Prep Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
