Basketball Recap: Evie De Wit Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Doral Academy Red Rock

The Meadows School posted their biggest victory since January 22nd on Wednesday. They blew past the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons 51-27. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Meadows School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Evie De Wit, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most points De Wit has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Ej Nwapa, who went 6 of 12 en route to 13 points along with eight boards and three steals.

The Meadows School was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The Meadows School's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
