Central Magnet will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marshall County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Friday, Central Magnet lost to Tullahoma at home by a decisive 68-50 margin.
Meanwhile, Marshall County pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Giles County. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Tuesday (55), Marshall County still had to take the loss.
Jabrae Howard put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 22 points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jamahl Gentry, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Central Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Marshall County, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
