Volleyball Recap: Ketcham's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ketcham can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They skirted past the North Rockland Raiders 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Storm: when they faced off against the Raiders last Thursday, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Ketcham took North Rockland into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-19, 18-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Ketcham was led to victory by Isabella Asuncion and Paytyn Dee. Asuncion had 18 digs and eight assists, while Dee had 13 digs. Those eight assists gave Asuncion a new career-high. Ariel Rosenquest also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Ketcham now has a winning record of 8-7. As for North Rockland, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Ketcham will venture away from home to take on Fox Lane at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Rockland, they will host Scarsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
