Solon has gone a perfect 10-0 against Shaker Heights recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Solon took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Wadsworth by a score of 10-7.

Cami Prelog and Colleen Krzywicki did most of the damage at the plate: Prelog went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Krzywicki went 1-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave Krzywicki a new career-high. Emily Few was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Shaker Heights made easy work of Beaumont School on Thursday and carried off a 17-5 victory.
Scout Harvey spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Shaker Heights got a massive performance out of Emerson Miller, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Milligan, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Shaker Heights always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .614. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beaumont School only posted an OBP of .240.
Solon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Shaker Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Everything went Solon's way against Shaker Heights in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Solon made off with an 11-5 win. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
