Basketball Recap: Freeman Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Freeman entered their matchup against Liberty on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The contest between the Freeman Scotties and the Liberty Lancers didn't end well, with the Freeman Scotties falling 62-46. The Scotties were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lancers earlier this season, when they won 55-37.

When it comes to explaining why Freeman lost, don't look at Taylee Phelps. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points and seven assists. The game was Phelps' third in a row with at least ten points. Rylee Russell was another key player, putting up 13 points.
