The Independence 76ers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by Branham on the road and fell 72-35. Independence has struggled against Branham recently, as their game on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Independence still got an impressive performance from Joshua Villanueva, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronny Pham, who scored five points.
Independence's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-13. As for Branham, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
