Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Okeechobee). They blew past the Lake Placid Dragons 9-1 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Okeechobee with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Lake Placid from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Alexander Gomez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Okeechobee's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Lake Placid, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Okeechobee will square off against Jensen Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Placid, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Wales at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
